Here are some clips and pics of my artist residency I completed at Mirante do Arvrao. A family owned hotel at the top of Vidigal favela In Rio, Brazil. During my 3 weeks here I painted murals for the community free of charge and introduced the children of the community to the world of street art and spray painting. The goal is to open up a door or a possibility of creativity to the younger generations that otherwise might have been closed in their situation. La Sierra Artist Residency
10 pages illustrated for a educational coloring book during my 3 weeks at La Sierra Artist Residency located on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Each page illustrates what one can do to help the environment and appreciate the Earth we all inhabit. During my time in Colombia I saw first hand how the locals litter, capture wild birds, and burn trash without thinking twice. The purpose of this coloring book is to give out to the children of local villages to educate them to prevent future pollution of the area.

Juan Valdez Unconventional Mural
Juan Valdez hired Marlon Pruz to create this 3 part, paint by number mural to be displayed at the Miami open as part of the Juan Valdez installation at the Open from March 26-27 2017. 3 panels were designed as separate murals to come together to form a final piece to be unveiled during the event. The concept is to provide an easy paint by number mural that anyone is able to paint. The final product being a fully displayable, clean mural that looks as though the chosen artist painted themselves. Kids as young as 5 years old to adults as old as 80 years old have painted with us and left their mark to help create this Juan Valdez inspired mural. Each panel was set up at a different Juan Valdez location around Miami, then filled in by whoever wished to participate, then touched up by the artists detail.

FAU timelapse mural
Donated a mural to Charles R. Drew elementary school in which the piece was a collaboration between artist and student. Instead of just helping the artist to paint, each kid was traced on the wall by the artist. Then each child was able to paint their outlined silhouette with whatever color they chose to represent them. Each child literally left their mark on the mural and were fossilized into the wall
